Although blood is mainly a liquid (called plasma), it also contains small solid components (red cells, white cells, and platelets.) The platelets are best known for their importance in clotting blood. However, plate lets also contain hundreds of proteins called growth actors which are very important in the healing of injuries.
To develop a PRP preparation, blood must first be drawn from a patient. The platelet ts are separated from other blood cells and their concentration is increased during a process called centrifugation. Then the increased concentration of platelets is combined with the remaining blood.

First treatment effects are visible after 2 weeks. Tissue reconstruction begins already 48 hours after the first treatment. Improved tension, elasticity, skin density, reconstruction of collagen fibres and filling of minor wrinkles is achieved after three treatments in the following scheme: 0-1-6 months. As soon as after two treatments, considerable thickening of hair and improved hair condition is visible.
